Here’s an email I did for Pep Boys. The challenge was to advertise their Valentine’s Day sale – not normally a holiday marketed toward men. How to do it? Let’s talk a four wheeled love affair.

My strategy for this newsletter I did for Mott’s? Fun copy + rock star theme = kids thinking, “Hey, I can’t wait to go back to school!” Or maybe they all started bands.

Crucial sells a huge variety of computing products online, and bill themselves as “The Memory and Storage Experts™.” That might sound dry, but I enjoy working with this client since they enjoy using a sense of humor in their advertising. It definitely helps them stand out from the competition.

The challenge of this Redbox communication was to entice potential subscribers by calling attention to the massive number of titles Redbox carries.

Here’s a sample I wrote for ABC News. On the verge of releasing their new iPad app, it was all very hush hush (I was sworn to secrecy and you better believe I kept mum!). Upon release the app was a hit, and I got to see my copy, which was featured on their home page, for a millisecond on TV. *pride*

I’m a big music fan, so I was excited to do this piece for Sirius/XM radio. My goal was to push their #1 benefit: commercial free listening. Not that there’s anything wrong with commercials (that’s the copywriter in me talking).

The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group knows their refreshing beverages, but they’ve got some delish meal ideas up their sleeves as well. Here’s a creative that focuses on a summertime favorite: kebabs.

Here’s a music-themed email created for 1-800-FLOWERS, starring young Australian heartthrob Cody Simpson. You’ll see the messaging is combined with Mother’s Day deals – what a great way to advertise to both moms and daughters.

Sport Chalet is a popular sporting goods store chain in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. They pride themselves on the expertise of their staff; they’re not just salespeople in polos. They’re athletes, sports enthusiasts and hobbyists who know the activity and best equipment for it. Here’s an ad I created for some of their scuba offerings.

Writing about medical conditions, disorders or pharmaceuticals is no small task, but through research and client outreach I was able to assist in creating this email for Amgen. It describes ITP in a thorough yet hopeful manner.

Proactiv is a highly successful skin care regimen, but they found that some customers were not keen on their automatic delivery system. This email touts their new delivery flexibility options.

Everyone knows walking is good for your health, but how can you motivate your customers to do it? Walk With Walgreens is a tip-filled plan that inspires people to get outside and hit their stride.

BevMo! redefined “customer journey” with this clever campaign. It’s extremely important, especially in email marketing, to make the customer feel unique and valued.

When a customer opts in for emails, a company has to catch their eye immediately with messaging that reinforces value. Beauty Brands made sure to put their best face forward right away.

Alliance Direct Lending wanted to lead the pack when it came to this campaign, so I went with a sensible approach that any careful consumer (and hopefully, careful driver) can appreciate.

Sally Hansen wanted a reactivation message that would attract the attention of lax subscribers and alert them to what they’ve been missing. I certainly hope I nailed it.

Swish! This March-Madness themed Allstate ad needed to cut through traffic and get customers excited. By driving straight to the message, I assisted in creating a winner.
